The Origin of WuxingFlow

"Wu Xing" (the Five Elements) is the code to cosmic operation in Eastern philosophy—Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, interacting through cycles of generation and restraint, like the eternal breath of heaven and earth. "Flow," in Western context, represents the dynamic equilibrium of energy, inspiration, and destiny.

Founder Jason Wang began studying the I Ching under his grandfather’s guidance as a child. While pursuing a degree in Eastern Mysticism at Shandong University’s Philosophy Department, he became captivated by the relationship between the Five Elements and the human energy field. In 2018, he enrolled in a master’s program in Feng Shui Planning at The University of Hong Kong. During a course project, he experienced a revelation: tasked with revitalizing a struggling local diner, he reoriented the kitchen layout using the principle of "Fire generates Earth, Earth generates Metal." Within three months, the restaurant’s revenue surged by 200%.

“At that moment, I realized the Five Elements are not abstract symbols, but a precise system of energy flow,” Jason recalled. One late night in the university library, while poring over The Arcane Principles of Geomancy, he stumbled upon a copy of Quantum Physics and Energy Fields. A passage leaped out: “The vibrational frequency of matter defines its form”—a concept eerily mirroring the I Ching’s ancient wisdom: “Like resonates with like; shared energy attracts shared destiny.”

After 365 days of empirical research on urban Feng Shui cases in Hong Kong, Jason distilled millennia-old wisdom into a modern, tangible solution. Thus, WuxingFlow was born: its name not only phonetically echoes “Wu Xing” (五行), but embodies the fusion of natural energy Flow to harmonize the wearer’s aura with the universe’s rhythm.
